Liverpool defender, Trent Alexander-Arnold has said he would be “surprised” if Manchester City dropped more points as they battle Arsenal in the Premier League title race.
City have won their last nine fixtures in a row to leapfrog long-term leaders Arsenal.
Pep Guardiola’s side are now one point ahead of the Gunners and have a game in hand as well as a superior goal difference.
“The league [title race] is obvious now. I’ve said it for a while, if Man City are anywhere close, if they smell blood at Christmas, New Year – it’s game over really.
“There’s no stopping them once they start winning and now at this point, I’d be surprised if they drew a game,” Alexander-Arnold told Red Bull.
