Former Manchester United star, Paul Parker, has urged manager Erik ten Hag not to hand Bruno Fernandes the captain’s armband in Harry Maguire’s absence from the starting lineup.
Parker said that Fernandes never stops moaning, adding that the 28-year-old gets on people’s nerves.
Recall that during Manchester United’s Premier League 1-0 win over Aston Villa last month, forward Jadon Sancho told Fernandes to “stop moaning” after a passage of play.
A video clip of the incident also went viral among fans on social media.
Speaking to MyBettingSites, Parker said, “I think that everyone knows that [Bruno] Fernandes moans a lot. He never stops moaning, and he must get on people’s nerves.
“Sancho might be feeling it more than other players because Fernandes is getting at him all the time. But [Jadon] Sancho needs to treat him like a club captain, however, he should not be the captain, but that is how it is now.”
