Arsenal boss, Mikel Arteta has said that managers such as Brighton’s Roberto De Zerbi are what the Premier League wants because he is one of the best in the world.
Arsenal will take on Brighton at the Emirates on Sunday and Arteta is full of praise for De Zerbi and his Seagulls side, who were defeated 5-1 by Everton last weekend.
But after the game against Everton, De Zerbi had warned Arsenal, telling the north London side to prepare for a totally different Brighton team this weekend.
Brighton are seventh in the Premier League table and still have a good chance of finishing in European places.
De Zerbi has improved the team, making them more of a potent attacking threat and Arteta described the Seagulls as a joy to watch when they play.
“They are a really complicated side. The way they are playing under Roberto and the coaching staff is remarkable, it’s just a joy to watch them play,” Arteta told his pre-match press conference on Friday.
“What he’s brought to the league is a different idea.
“This is what we want, we want to be the best league in the world, we need the best managers and the best players,” he added.
