Chelsea interim manager, Frank Lampard has admitted that Nottingham Forest are “a bigger team than us” following a 2-2 draw on Saturday.
Taiwo Awoniyi and Raheem Sterling both scored twice as the Blues dropped points at Stamford.
For Lampard, it was the first draw, following six defeats and one win.
The former England international has explained why Chelsea couldn’t make it two consecutive victories.
“We did struggle at set-pieces. The long loopy throw is a difficult one to defend against. We’ve seen them score goals from that in recent games when it’s been important for them.
“They’re a bigger team than us, then it was always going to be a threat. But we have to deal with it,” Lampard said.
