Premier League legend, Jamie Carragher has hailed Trent Alexander-Arnold for his magnificent goal against Leicester City on Monday.
The Red Devils went to the King Power Stadium and conquered the Foxes in front of their home fans with Curtis Jones scoring the first goal of the match in the 33rd minute and added a second just three minutes later.
However, it was Alexander-Arnold’s 71st minute strike that caught the eyes of football lovers as it was the real show-stopper.
Liverpool were awarded a free-kick just outside the home side’s box in the second half and Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah stood over the set-piece.
The Egyptian record breaker then rolled the ball for the right-back to produce a sensational strike into the top-right corner of the Foxes’ goal.
The strike left goalkeeper Daniel Iverson helpless and Carragher was thoroughly impressed with the effort as he wrote on Twitter, “Wow! TAA take a bow son.”
