Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, has confirmed that everyone in his team is fit for the Champions League semi-final second-leg clash with Real Madrid, except defender Nathan Ake.
Guardiola’s side will host Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final second-leg tie at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday night.
Man City drew 1-1 with Real Madrid in last week’s first-leg encounter at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Ake missed the game in Madrid after being substituted in the 2-1 victory over Leeds on May 6.
“Except Nathan, everyone is fit,” Guardiola said at his pre-match press conference.
“I know they will be close to us because they know what this team has done over the last years,” Guardiola added. “They will not leave us alone, I’m pretty sure.
“In bad moments, they will be with us and in the good, they will put us first.
“The way to put the pressure on our opponents is on our game. We play 11 versus 11 and our game will dictate what you have to do to reach the final. But of course, in the bad moments, they are there and will be there.”
