Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, has insisted that forward Alejandro Garnacho is yet to reach superstar status like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Garnacho has enjoyed a breakout campaign at Manchester United this season.
The 18-year-old has scored six goals and has registered six assists in 33 games across competitions for the Red Devils.
Garnacho scored a spectacular goal as Erik ten Hag’s side defeated Wolves 2-0 in their latest Premier League home clash at Old Trafford.
However, Fernandes acknowledged that Garnacho is a special talent but admitted he has a long way to go before reaching Messi and Ronaldo’s level.
“He is not yet a superstar. In Argentina and Portugal, the superstars are Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, so he still has a lot of work to do, but he has something special that is certain,” Fernandes was quoted by UtdPlug as saying.
