Former Scotland and Rangers legend Ally McCoist has picked former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson over Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola.
Following Manchester City’s exploits in recent years, comparisons are being made between Guardiola, presently Manchester City boss, and Manchester United’s legendary manager Ferguson.
Guardiola has achieved massive success at Manchester City and helped the Citizens claim their third consecutive Premier League title this season.
Ferguson led Manchester United to a multitude of honours during his 26 seasons at Old Trafford.
Both managers have proven their worth amongst football’s greats, and McCoist would prefer to have his fellow Scotsman as manager in his prime over Guardiola.
“I’m taking Sir Alex [over Pep]!” MCcost told talkSPORT.
“I’ve worked with him. He’s my kind of man!”
