Sky Sports pundit, Gary Neville has revealed one major priority Chelsea’s incoming new manager, Mauricio Pochettino, needs to do with the Blues players.
Chelsea lost 1-0 against Manchester City on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.
Speaking during the clash with Manchester City, Neville said Pochettino needs to change Chelsea players’ mentality when he finally takes charge of the west London club next season.
The Manchester United legend said: “I think he [Pochettino] needs to change these players’ mentality from where it has been for the last few months and hope the break they get in the summer gives them a rest mentally to come back fresh with new ideas, a new manager.”
Pochettino is expected to take over from caretaker manager Frank Lampard at the end of the season, having reached an agreement with Chelsea.
