Manchester United legend, Gary Neville has named midfielder Casemiro as the player who helped the Red Devils qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.
Neville believes Man United would have failed to qualify for the Champions League without Casemiro.
Man United sealed a Premier League top-four finish after beating Chelsea 4-1 on Thursday.
Casemiro opened the scoring for Man United as Anthony Martial, Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford also scored for Erik ten Hag’s side against Chelsea.
“Without Casemiro, United would not be heading back to the Champions League,” Neville told Sky Sports.
Casemiro joined Manchester United from Real Madrid last summer for £70 million.
The Brazilian international has been a key figure for United this season.
