Chelsea interim manager, Frank Lampard has hailed Manchester United’s “clinical nature” in front of goal.
According to Lampard, that was the difference as the Blues lost 4-1 at Old Trafford on Thursday.
The Blues missed an early chance through Mykhailo Mudryk, before Casemiro headed in the opening goal. Anthony Martial then made it 2-0 before the break.
Bruno Fernandes converted his penalty and Marcus Rashford added a fourth.
Joao Felix pulled one back for Chelsea at Old Trafford.
Lampard told Sky Sports: “The clinical nature in front of goal. We were the better football team in the first half – in possession, chances we matched them at least.
“To be 2-0 down is probably a sign of where we’re at. Second half, probably a sign of where we’re at.”
