Nottingham Forest manager, Steve Cooper has challenged Taiwo Awoniyi to build on his impressive maiden campaign in the Premier League next term.
Awoniyi linked up with the Tricky Trees from Bundesliga club, Union Berlin last summer.
The Nigeria international however enjoyed a productive season with Forest helping them escape relegation.
The 25-year-old scored his 10th goal of the season in the Reds 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace on Sunday
Awoniyi was the first Forest player to hit double figure in a single Premier League season since Stan Collymore in the 1994/95 season.
“We’re pleased with him. In the Premier League, you always need a player who is going to score goals. He’s shown he can do that.
“Let’s hope he can work hard to take that on next season,” Cooper said after the game against Palace.
