Former Manchester City defender, Micah Richards, has predicted that Chelsea will finish in the top four next season under their new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
According to Richards, Pochettino will improve Chelsea and make them challenge for the Premier League title a little bit.
Chelsea recently appointed Pochettino as their new permanent manager, replacing caretaker coach Frank Lampard.
They finished in the 12th position on the Premier League table this season.
“I think Chelsea are going to be really good next season under Poch [Pochettino],” Richards told Sky Sports.
“I think the top four. Chelsea top four, challenging a little bit, maybe more.”
He added, “The players that they have got, they need a striker. Nkunku coming in, they will get that sorted – but I think Chelsea will be challenging big next season.
“They are only going to get better, though. They are not going to get worse, are they?”
