West Ham United captain, Declan Rice is open to joining Bayern Munich after a phone call with manager, Thomas Tuchel.
Bayern Munich are ramping up their charm offensive for Rice, with Tuchel reaching out to the player, according to Sky Sports Germany.
Rice is expected to leave West Ham this summer with a host of Premier League clubs – Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City queueing up to sign him.
But Bayern Munich are preparing to make a rival play as Tuchel has personally spoken to the England World Cup star in an effort to convince him to move to the Bundesliga.
The report added that while Rice’s preference is to remain in the Premier League, the 24-year-old is said to be ‘open’ to a move to Bayern and has welcomed the interest from the Bundesliga champions.
