Real Madrid attacking midfielder, Marco Asensio, has left the club as a free agent, and he is set to join Paris Saint-Germain.
This was disclosed by football transfer guru, Fabrizio Romano, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Saturday.
According to Romano, Asensio has already made his decision last week that he would leave Real Madrid.
“Official and confirmed. Marco Asensio leaves Real Madrid as [a] free agent — the decision was made last week,” Romano tweeted.
“Asensio, set to complete details of his new chapter at Paris Saint-Germain in the next [few] days.”
Asensio played 50 times for Real Madrid this season, but the 27-year-old only started 18 times, scored 12 goals and contributed eight assists for Ancelotti’s side.
