Manchester United are now looking into the prospect of sending forward Mason Greenwood out on loan for next season.
Greenwood has not played for Man United since January last year, after he was arrested and charged with attempted rape and assault.
However, all charges against the 21-year-old were dropped in February this year.
Man United went on to announce that the club would ‘conduct its own process before determining the next step to take in relation to the player’s future at Old Trafford.
And according to MailOnline, the Red Devils’ internal investigation is ongoing, but the club are considering allowing Greenwood to leave on loan for the entirety of next season.
The report added that a move to another Premier League club for Greenwood is highly unlikely, while three potential destinations are Italy, Spain and Turkey.
