Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez has confirmed that the club has completed the signing of Espanyol striker Joselu on loan.
Perez also claimed that there will be no more signings for Real Madrid this summer.
This is coming following Karim Benzema’s recent departure from Real Madrid to join Saudi Pro League club Al-Ittihad.
Los Blancos have signed Joselu on loan as Benzema’s replacement.
Joselu was a key player for Espanyol in the recently concluded 2022/23 season.
The Spanish attacker l scored 17 goals and provided four assists in 38 games across competitions.
When asked if his team has already signed Joselu, Perez said, as quoted by Madrid Xtra: “Yes, he will arrive next week.”
When asked if Real Madrid will make more signings this summer transfer window, Perez simply said: “No.”
