Chelsea midfielder, Mason Mount, is currently undergoing medical checks at Manchester United’s training ground ahead of a potential move this summer.
The two Premier League clubs have agreed a £60 million deal for Mount, who has a year left on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
He has now been given permission to travel to Manchester to finalize the deal as preseason looms.
“Mason Mount, undergoing medical tests at Carrington right now as expected — then he will sign until June 2028 with an option until June 2029.
“Plan confirmed as Manchester United are prepared to unveil MM as their first signing of the summer,” football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, tweeted on Monday.
Mount will become Erik ten Hag’s first major signing ahead of his second season in charge.
