Former Tottenham Hotspur manager, Harry Redknapp has said that Arsenal would be Manchester City’s biggest rival in the Premier League next season.
He also said that Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea will target the league title.
Pep Guardiola led Manchester City to their third successive title last season, being their fifth in six seasons.
They pipped Arsenal at the business end of the season despite the Gunners topping the table for the majority of the campaign.
Manchester United finished distant third in Erik ten Hag’s first season at Old Trafford .
Liverpool fought back from the other half of the table to narrowly miss out on the Champions League.
For Chelsea, it was a different story as the Blues finished just 12th after a disastrous campaign under three different managers.
Redknapp expects Arsenal to be the ‘main challengers’ for the second year.
“I’m sorry to see Declan Rice leave West Ham,” Redknapp told GB News.
“I think he will certainly improve Arsenal’s chances of finishing above Man City next year, which is not easy.
“Man City will be red hot favourites again. But Arsenal have made a couple of good signings, I think they’re going to be very strong.
“I see them as the main challenges to Manchester City, for sure,” he said.
