Real Madrid will consider four of their former players to replace Carlo Ancelotti as manager.
Ancelotti has agreed to take over the Brazil national team from the end of next season.
The pull of the French national job is seen as the only thing that could keep Zinedine Zidane from the Bernabeu job for a third time.
Zidane has already coached Madrid twice and led them to three Champions League successes.
If he is, however, not the man to take over in 2024, the LaLiga giants will consider Xabi Alonso, Raul Gonzalez and Alvaro Arbeloa.
