Paris Saint-Germain are now trying to sign Manchester United target Rasmus Hojlund, according to reports.
The 20-year-old scored 10 goals in 34 appearances for Atalanta last season and has become one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe.
United boss, Erik ten Hag, are said to have made Hojlund their No 1 striker target this summer and were hoping to do a deal for around £40million.
But Atalanta’s asking price is almost double, £86m, which the Red Devils may struggle to pay given their pursuit of Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana.
And according to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, PSG have made an enquiry about Hojlund as they look to strengthen their forward line.
This could be a blow to Ten Hag, who has already walked away from a deal to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
