Experienced forward Sikiru Alimi has rejoined Nigeria Premier League club Remo Stars.

Alimi featured for the Sky Blue Stars in the 2021/22 campaign.

The Ikenne club confirmed his return on their official Twitter handle on Friday afternoon.

“We can confirm that striker Sikiru Alimi has rejoined the club ahead of the 2023–24 league season,” reads the tweet.

Alimi was in the books of Shooting Stars last season.

Injuries limited his appearance, as he recorded a paltry one goal for the Oluyole Warriors.

He failed to agree a new deal with Gbenga Ogunbote’s side, prompting his decision to rejoin Remo Stars.
