Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has said only Manchester City can talk about winning the Premier League title next season.

City not only won the title for the third consecutive year, but they completed the Treble by defeating United to win the FA Cup and beating Inter Milan in the Champions League final.

In his first season in England, Ten Hag won the Carabao Cup and also finished in third place behind Pep Guardiola’s men and Arsenal.

Ten Hag has now claimed City have the advantage in the title race as the new campaign approached.

“I think no-one in the Premier League can do that [talk about the title].

“Maybe Man City, because for the last six years they won the title five times.

“They can talk about that, but any other club must first compete for the first four positions,” Ten Hag said according to Express Sport.
