Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has insisted that the Red Devils will miss David De Gea this season.
De Gea left Man United this summer after his contract expired at the start of last month.
The Red Devils then bought Andre Onana to replace the Spaniard.
Speaking about De Gea, Ferdinand told TNT Sports: “I think they will miss him. He is arguably the best shot-stopper around, and won the Golden Glove last year.
“So, I don’t think the keeper that won the Golden Glove would be relieved of his duties at a football club in any other era.
“But the way that the game’s going now, in wanting the goalkeeper to be attached to the 10 outfield players and be a footballer now, that is why we are in that situation.”
