Barcelona forward, Ansu Fati is reportedly open to leaving the club amid interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.
According to AS Sport, Fati feels he is no longer in Barcelona manager Xavi’s plans this season and that he must leave in order to secure regular game time.
In Barcelona’s opening La Liga match of the new season against Getafe last weekend, the 20-year-old was only brought off the bench with 11 minutes to go, with Xavi subbing on fellow youngsters Abde Ezzalzouli and Lamine Yamal before him.
Fati has already scored 29 goals and registered 10 assists in 110 appearances for Barcelona, and even inherited Lionel Messi’s No.10 shirt.
But his time with the Spanish La Liga champions appears to be over.
Fati, a product of Barcelona’s academy, recently rejected an approach from Arsenal, but according to the aforementioned source, he has now had a change of heart in regards to staying at the Camp Nou and fighting for his place.
The Spain international currently has four years left on his contract with Barcelona and it remains to be seen what price Barcelona would be willing to accept for his departure.
