Chelsea manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has confirmed three of his key players will miss his side’s Carabao Cup second round tie against AFC Wimbledon on Wednesday at Stamford Bridge.
The players are Benoit Badiashile and Armando Broja and Mykhailo Mudryk.
Badiashile and Broja are at the end stages of their rehabilitation programme, while Mudryk will continue to undergo his rehabilitation programme.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Tuesday, Pochettino said: “They [Badiashile, Broja and Mudryk] won’t play tomorrow [against Wimbledon]. We need to wait until after the international break and we will see.
“Maybe Misha is closer than Broja and Badiashile, but we need to assess him day by day.”
The Carabao Cup match between Chelsea and AFC Wimbledon will take place by 7.45 pm.
