Former Manchester United star, Alan Brazil, has claimed the club’s players are disgusted by how manager Erik ten Hag treated Cristiano Ronaldo.
Recall that Man United terminated Ronaldo’s contract last year after he criticized Ten Hag, the club and some of its players during an interview with Piers Morgan.
Brazil also said that the Red Devils players are not having Ten Hag, adding that they are not happy with his management and are privately disputing the Dutchman’s assessment of Jadon Sancho in training.
Recall that Ten Hag had come under fire after Man United’s poor start to the new season in which they have lost six of their 11 games in all competitions so far.
The former Ajax coach also faced a problem with Sancho after publicly criticising the winger’s effort levels in training following Man United’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal at Emirates in September.
“Do you know what I was hearing, and you’ve got to be careful what you report on but this is what I have heard from a United player who told someone we know very well,” Brazil said during his talkSPORT show on Wednesday morning.
“He said the players are not having the manager. They are not having him, definitely not.
“By all accounts, they are disgusted by the way that he treated Cristiano and they say Sancho is a great guy who works his socks off. He said the players are not having him.”
