Arsenal booked their spot in the Champions League last 16 thanks to a 6-0 win over Lens on Wednesday night.
The Gunners needed only one point to confirm their place following PSV’s 3-2 victory over Sevilla earlier in the day.
With one round of fixtures left to play, Mikel Arteta’s men know they will face one of the group runners-up in the round of 16.
Although there are still loose ends to tie up in the other groups, Arsenal have an idea of who they could face next.
Only two teams are assured of second spot in their groups. One of those is PSV – who Arsenal can’t face again after playing them in the group stage – and the other is RB Leipzig, who they could meet.
That leaves Arsenal with the following options, depending on who finishes second in their respective group: Napoli or Braga, Real Sociedad or Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid or Lazio, Borussia Dortmund, PSG or AC Milan, RB Leipzig, Barcelona, Porto or Shakhtar Donetsk, and Galatasaray or FC Copenhagen.
