Leon Balogun says it is a privilege to win another trophy with Scottish Premiership giants, Rangers.
Balogun was in full action as Rangers defeated Aberdeen 1-0 at the Hampden Park on Sunday to win their 28th Scottish League Cup title.
It was the centre-back’s third silverware with the Gers.
The Nigerian won the Scottish Premiership title and the FA Cup during his first stint at the Ibrox Stadium.
Balogun said he loved every minutes of getting his hand on the trophy.
“When I left the first time, for me, it is the most special time I had in my career and that will never change,” he told Rangers TV.
“It is a privilege for me to be here at this stage of my career and to be winning silverware again.
“The fans are second to none, I have played in some big stadiums, but they are great.
“It is great to see the reaction from the fans. I am very happy and content.”
Balogun will hope to be in action again when Rangers hosts St Johnstone in a league clash on Wednesday.
