Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has insisted he will not bring in a new centre-back in January, despite suffering an injury crisis.
Los Blancos need bodies in the centre of defence, after their presumptive starting pair both suffered season-ending ACL tears before the Christmas break.
With Nacho suspended due to a red card received against Alaves, Ancelotti only has Rudiger available.
Despite the lack of options and injuries, Ancelotti is adamant he will find solutions internally.
He said: “We are not contemplating signing another centre-back.
“We are missing two, two important pieces, but we have two others, who are very important, and we have emergency solutions like [Aurelien] Tchouameni and [Dani] Carvajal.”
