Manchester United legend, Gary Neville, has said Liverpool’s style of play will “suit” Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final this weekend.

According to him, the Blues have a “real chance” of winning the trophy.

Neville feels Chelsea’s performance in the 1-1 draw at Manchester City on Saturday has changed the complexion of the game at Wembley.

Liverpool have also lost Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Curtis Jones to injuries during the week, while Alisson Becker and Trent Alexander-Arnold are already out.

“Liverpool are favourites next week, let’s be clear. But Chelsea have a real chance.

“What they showed yesterday is that when a team pushes up the pitch – which Liverpool do – they can counter-attack and be really dangerous. I think it suits Chelsea.

“I think it’s game on. I’m really looking forward to it. Liverpool will know they’re in for a game,” Neville said on Sky Sports.
