Barcelona manager, Xavi Hernandez, has hailed some of his players following a 3-2 victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie on Wednesday.
Raphinha opened the scoring for the LaLiga giants, but the hosts went in front thanks to goals from Ousmane Dembele and Vitinha.
Barca equalized through another Raphinha goal, before Andreas Christensen headed in the winner.
“We played well, we defended well and attacked. Tactically we did really well. They changed a lot of players, we defended [Kylian] Mbappe really well.
“We created many chances, Raphinha and Robert [Lewandowski] made the difference, Pedri helped us a lot. Very happy and very proud of the team.
“[Andreas] Christiensen also with the corner, we did so well. Big win but half work, game in Barca will be tough. PSG is one of the best teams in the world right now,” Xavi told TNT Sports.
