Former Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has given his opinion on why manager Jurgen Klopp and Mohamed Salah clashed on the touchline against West Ham on Saturday.
According to him, it is because Salah took too long to be ready to come on as a substitute.
Carragher posted on X: “The only reason a manager would be unhappy in this situation, is the player took too long to be ready to come on.”
Salah was left on the bench for the game and Klopp opted to bring him on with Liverpool leading 2-1.
But while they were waiting on the touchline for a break in play, Michail Antonio headed in for 2-2.
Salah was then caught in a hot argument with Klopp and had to be pulled back by Nunez.
