BeIN host, Richard Keys has dissected Manchester City’s 115 Financial Fair Play (FFP) charges as they edge closer to winning this season’s Premier League title.

Man City are two points ahead of Arsenal on the Premier League table with just one game left against West Ham United.

But Pep Guardiola’s side are currently under the cloud of 115 charges levied by the Premier League at the start of 2023, covering regulatory breaches across 14 seasons from 2009-10 onward.

However, Keys expressed to beIN Sports his belief that this potential fourth consecutive league title would be overshadowed by the ongoing financial probe into Manchester City’s dealings.

Keys said, “The problem remains, it all comes with an asterisk.”

He proceeded to enumerate the charges facing City: “54 failures to provide accurate financial information from 2009-10 to 2018. 14 failures to provide accurate details on player and manager payments. Five failures to comply with UEFA’s rules, including Financial Fair Play, from 2013-14 to 2017-18.”
