Feyenoord coach, Arne Slot, has confirmed that he will take over from Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool manager.
Klopp, who has been leading the Reds since October 2015, will depart at the end of the season.
His tenure has been marked by significant achievements, including victories in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and two EFL Cups.
Following Klopp’s announcement in January, numerous candidates were considered for the position.
However, speaking ahead of his side’s clash with Excelsior on Sunday, Slot said at his pre-match press conference:
“I can confirm that I will become the trainer there [Liverpool ] next year.”
