Real Madrid are considering Manchester City’s midfielder Rodri as a successor to the retiring Toni Kroos.
Kroos is set to retire after the upcoming European Championship.
The 34-year-old, celebrated as one of the top midfielders of his era, will conclude his illustrious career after Euro 2024 in Germany.
His final club appearances will be in the UEFA Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley on June 1.
Rodri has been a key player for Manchester City since joining the club four years ago.
According to Tribal Football, the La Liga champions are keen on acquiring the 27-year-old.
However, any transfer would be complex, given Rodri’s contract with City runs until 2027.
Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich is also being considered as an alternative.
