Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund will get a new shirt number for the 2024-2025 season.
Hojlund wore No. 11 during his debut season at Old Trafford.
However, according to the United Stand, the Denmark international will now take the No. 9 jersey, which was worn by Anthony Martial last term.
Martial left the club after his contract expired.
Hojlund will now follow in the footsteps of United legends like Sir Bobby Charlton, Andy Cole, Dimitar Berbatov and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who have all worn the No. 9 shirt.
With Hojlund getting a new number, the latest signing, Joshua Zirkzee, is expected to inherit the No. 11 shirt. He had previously worn 9, 10 and 11 while playing for Dutch youth teams.
