Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, has said he decided on Christopher Nkunku as his designated penalty taker.
The Blues thrashed Club America 3-0 in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday night, with Nkunku opening the scoring from the spot.
Marc Guiu then doubled Chelsea’s advantage, before Nkunku won a penalty in the second half.
This time around, he allowed Noni Madueke take it to make it 3-0.
“I have decided and this is the reason for the first one Christopher took the penalty and Noni was close to taking it, but I told Tosin to tell Noni that Christo has to take the penalty.
“I am the guy who decides who shoots the penalty and not the players,” Maresca said.
