Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti, is confident that Federico Valverde will fill the gap left in the team by Toni Kroos’ exit.
According to Marca, Ancelotti has placed his faith in Valverde’s ability to take on the role Kroos played for Los Blancos in his starting XI.
Kroos retired from football this summer, after winning the LaLiga and Champions League titles with the LaLiga giants.
The Germany midfielder also represented his country at Euro 2024 before hanging up his boots.
Valverde has already been assigned the Real Madrid’s number 8 shirt that Kroos wore for many seasons.
The Uruguay midfielder only scored three goals last campaign in the Spanish topflight.
