American rapper Terius Gray, popularly known as Juvenile, has declared his colleague, Lil Wayne as “the greatest rapper of all time.”
Speaking on ‘The Breakfast Club show’, Juvenile, 49, said he witnessed Wayne’s rise closely during their days at Birdman’s Cash Money Records.
“I think [Lil] Wayne is the greatest rapper of all time. I’ve been with him. That’s my dude. I saw the whole process of him. I saw his downtime. I chided him.
“Just seeing the whole development of Wayne and where he at right now, I just feel like he is the greatest rapper of all time.”
Lil Wayne founded Young Money Records after he left Cash Money Records. The label brought some of hip-hop greats like Nicki Minaj and Drake into the spotlight.
Wayne is one of the world’s best-selling music artists, with over 120 million records sale worldwide.
Rappers such as Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby, Tyga, Young Thug, Future, Polo G and Palyboi Carti have cited him as an influence on their careers.
