Blueface is speaking out for the first time since he received his prison sentence.
The rapper called from prison into DJ Hed and Gina Views’ “Effective Immediately” radio show on Monday, August 19, and explained his situation.
He clarified that he was sentenced to four years in prison but received a year’s credit for the time he’s served thus far.
Blueface must do at least 33 percent of his sentence to be eligible for release.
He estimates that he’ll be home by March or April 2025.
During the conversation, Blueface described his experience behind bars as “a little break from responsibility” and revealed how he passes the time.
“I’m chilling, man. I’m in my environment,” he explained.
“It’s like a little break from responsibility. I’m like 180 [lbs] right now. I’ve never been 180 before. I’m getting sized up, I’m about to bounce out looking like a Dalmatian.”
“I be j**king off, watching TV, eating burritos and using the phone,” he added.
“That’s pretty much it … They only got like 12 channels. I’ve been watchin a lot of the news, the Sherri show and The Jennifer Hudson Show.”
Blueface has been locked up since he was arrested in January for violating the terms of his probation stemming from his alleged assault on a bouncer at a Las Vegas strip club in 2021.
He managed to avoid prison after he was granted a suspended sentence. However, a judge recently ruled that the rapper violated his probation after he was reportedly caught with drug paraphernalia.
During the interview, Blueface also said he still wants a fight with Soulja Boy and NLE Choppa. The imprisoned artist had been embroiled in a beef with both rappers before he was locked up. At one point, Blue and Choppa had agreed to a boxing match, but Blueface backed out after negotiations failed.
“Soulja Boy promised me a fade so whatever’s clever, the fastest way we can do it. I’m still on that,” Blueface said. “I think NLE owes me one, too. I’ve seen him out there popping it.”
