Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has admitted their goalless draw with Atalanta was “not the nicest to watch”.
The Gunners began their Champions League with a 0-0 result in Bergamo on Thursday night.
David Raya was the hero for Arsenal, as he produced a stunning double save to deny Mateo Retegui from the penalty.
Speaking to TNT Sports after the game, Arteta said: “As we suspected, it was a tough match. Not the nicest to watch.
“We started really, really well and we were really commanding the game.
“We gave a lot of balls away and couldn’t get any rhythm. There are a lot of positives and there are a lot of things for sure to improve.”
