England international, Cole Palmer has named his football idol.

Palmer has been outstanding for Chelsea since joining from Manchester City in the summer of 2023.

The young English player has really become a bit of a talisman, doing something that nobody expected to happen and something that any player can only dream of.

Palmer has had the same kind of effect that former Blues winger, Eden Hazard had on the club when he came here after Chelsea won the Champions League in 2012.

The England international said he would like to play with, adding that even though their game is different he tries to be as exciting as the Belgian.

“If I could play with one Chelsea icon, it’d be for sure Eden Hazard,” he told The Premier League on YouTube.

“Eden Hazard. Our game is different but I try to be as exciting as Hazard.”
