In a recent social media confrontation, renowned makeup artist JBeautyfull expressed her frustration with veteran actress Regina Askia over the handling of a controversy surrounding a public figure, VDM.

JBeautyfull, visibly upset, called out Askia for allegedly ‘’promoting a negative narrative and fan support” around the case, which has drawn considerable public attention.

In a series of posts, JBeautyfull criticized Askia for what she perceived as a biased stance in favour of VDM, despite accusations levied against him. According to JBeautyfull, VDM was simply asked to apologize, but supporters escalated the situation, claiming oppression.

“Make una wey get sense advise una colleague o,” she wrote, urging Regina Askia and her supporters to think critically and not let popularity overshadow substance. JBeautyfull also noted that not all public figures should be celebrated without a clear understanding of their actions.

In another part of her post, JBeautyfull addressed how difficult it is to undo the damage caused by the negative press surrounding the Falana family, adding that Askia, a veteran in the industry, should have known better than to add fuel to the fire.

She further criticized social media bullying and included another controversial public figure, Speed Darlington, in her statement about individuals who needed to be taught lessons about responsible behaviour.

JBeautyfull later added an explanatory comment to clarify legal matters raised by Askia and others. She pointed out that the responsibility of proving the authenticity of a purported voice recording lies with VDM and noted that without such evidence, the Falanas have no case against Bobrisky, another figure embroiled in the controversy. She urged people to stop spreading misinformation and instead focus on promoting accurate knowledge.
