Valencia have requested that their LaLiga home game against Real Madrid be postponed.
According to ESPN, this is due to the floods in the south-east of Spain, which has left at least 70 people dead.
A decision from the league is expected within 24 hours.
The Valencia area, along with Albacete, is among the worst affected and on Wednesday, the government’s emergency coordination centre confirmed that the latest number of known fatalities stands at 70, with many people still missing.
A decision will also be taken on the second division game between Levante and Malaga, which is due to be played in the city on Monday.
Three other matches have also been postponed due to the storm: Xerez’s tie with AD Ceuta, SD Ejea against Hércules and Getafe’s trip to Manises.
