Real Madrid have qualified for the final of this season’s Supercopa de Espana, following a 3-0 thrashing of Mallorca on Thursday night.
It is Los Blancos’ fourth consecutive Spanish Super Cup final.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side failed to score any goals in the first half in Jeddah, despite their complete dominance of the game.
Mallorca goalkeeper, Dominik Greif, was in inspired form, making several fantastic saves from Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni in particular.
Madrid, however, found the breakthrough in the 62nd minute of the game.
Rodrygo hit the woodwork, and although Kylian Mbappe was denied by Greif, Jude Bellingham forced the ball in at the third attempt.
Martin Valjent’s own goal doubled their advantage before Rodrygo swept home a third late in the game.
This result means it will be a Superclasico in Sunday’s final as Barcelona and Real Madrid prepare to go head-to-head for the third successive season in the Spanish Super Cup.
