In a video he shared online, Zic Aloma explained why he decided to undergo the surgery.
Nigerian skit maker, content creator Zic Aloma has revealed why he decided to undergo three weeks nose surgery.
He also reacted to the ridicule he faced following his announcement.
Speaking about the result, he said the surgery is healing.
Discussing the cost of the surgery, he wrote:
“This is three weeks post-operation, three weeks after my rhinoplasty. I’ll be taking off this cast so you guys can see how well my nose has healed. If you noticed, my face is less swollen. The last video I posted was five days after my surgery, and my face was still very swollen. It will continue to go down.”
On why he decided to undergo the surgery, he added:
“Some of you don’t even know what rhinoplasty is. Some think it’s a death sentence. People undergo it for different reasons—some for aesthetics, like me, and others for medical reasons, such as breathing issues. I’ve always had a very flat nose, and if I could have reconstructed it as a child, I would have.”
Aloma further opened up about the ridicule he faced:
“My siblings constantly insulted my nose, calling it too big and ugly. Among us, I was the only one with this type of nose. It made me feel different.”
Speaking on the cost of the surgery, he addressed speculations, saying:
“I want the speculations to continue, but for the sake of transparency, I didn’t pay for the procedure. It was a collaboration between me and a hospital.”
