A Nigerian man has called out supermarkets who now charge extra to give their customers nylon bags to carry items purchased from their stores.
In a video making the rounds on social media, the Nigerian man was in a supermarket in the Isheri area of Lagos state where he was asked to pay N30 for nylon bags to carry his items he bought at N11, 000.Traditional Nigerian cuisine
Disgusted by the move, the man began to shout at the salespersons in the supermarket. In another video he recorded, he said if this is the way supermarkets will be behaving, then market women, chemists and other business owners should also start charging their customers for nylon bags as well.
He said that this is how illegalities start in Nigeria.
He further stated that this is how real estate agents started and have turned to people that milk Nigerians in search of houses. He went on to state that if this is not quickly checked, supermarkets will soon start charging their customers as much as N200 for nylon bags.
