Liverpool ace, Mohamed Salah, on Sunday made Premier League history with his 45th goal contribution of the season so far.

It was enough to snatch a record jointly held by Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and Manchester City striker Erling Haaland.

Salah provided an assist in the first half of their Premier League 2-1 win against West Ham at Anfield.

In the first half, the Egyptian slid a trivela pass across the box for teammate Luis Díaz to score.

The assist was Salah’s league-leading 18th of the season.

He also has 27 Premier League goals for Liverpool in the ongoing season.

That combined total of 45 has broken the previous record for goal involvement in a 38-game Premier League season.

In the 2002–03 season, Henry had a total of 44 goal contributions.

It was matched by Haaland in the 2022–23 campaign.

However, with the pace Salah is going this season, he could also become the first player in a single Premier League season to account for more than 50 goal contributions.
