Galatasaray winger, Rafael Leão, is tipping Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal to win the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
Leão was speaking after they lost 4-1 to the LaLiga giants in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Although Yamal did not get on the scoresheet, he was again hugely influential as Barca went top of the table.
In an interview with TNT Sports BR, Leão said: “I hope Lamine Yamal wins the Ballon d’Or and big trophies with Barca.
“He is among the best in the world, he’s someone I really appreciate as a player and person. He’s surrounded by good players at an extraordinary club.”
The winner of this year’s Ballon d’Or award will be announced on October 26.
